The winner of this year’s Antalis Young Signmaker of the Year Award will be able to take the trip of a lifetime to Orlando in Florida, courtesy of ISA (International Sign Association).
The prize, which includes hotel accommodation and up to $1000 towards flights, will give the winner the chance to visit SignExpo in March 2020 as a guest of ISA, as well as enjoying some of Orlando’s amazing array of attractions.
Last year, a similar prize was awarded to the winner of the Sign of the Year title, but this year the ISA-UK council and ISA have agreed that the prize should go to the Young Signmaker of the Year.
“We think that visiting SignExpo offers an amazing opportunity for a young person setting out on a career in sign making,” said David Catanach, Director of ISA-UK. “It’s a unique chance to visit the world’s premier sign exhibition, meet some of the world’s leading sign professionals and see what the sign industry is like on the other side of the Atlantic.”
The Young Signmaker of the Year award category is open to anyone aged 25 or under who works for a UK sign business. They must be nominated for the award by their employer or by a recognised training organisation or college.
